The hotel is in a convenient spot, just a short walk from the high street shops and market streets. The rooms need a good tidy up and were located in an annex across the road from the main hotel, making them hard to find. The service was excellent, with attentive staff prepping a delicious vegan-friendly meal for me. The location is great for exploring the historical center of Tamworth and being close to various shops and bars. The dining experience was enjoyable with helpful restaurant staff, though locally caught fish wasn't easy to find on the menu.

The hotel offers excellent quality rooms with a huge bathroom, large bath, and separate double shower, although being directly above the disco bar might lead to noise disturbances. The service is exceptional with lovely food for the price paid and special touches for events like photo shoots. The location is fantastic, close to amenities and attractions, perfect for families with children. The dining experience, while good overall, can be a bit pricey, and some items need improvement. Overall, a great stay with some minor drawbacks.
